Notice of re-opening:
Following our abrupt closure due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, Footsteps Family Centre is re-opening this fall.
For those families that are already affiliated with our program, things will look and feel very different now. However, in order to operate and ensure a safe environment, we must all commit to do whatever is necessary to keep our children safe. Parents will be required to sign an agreement/acknowledgement/understanding of the local public health requirements prior to returning to the centre.
Footsteps Family Centre is committed to providing a safe & healthy learning environment. In order to ensure operations success, we will follow protocols and procedures for daily health checks, exclusion of children, parents, and staff who are sick, infection prevention, and control and sanitary practices, as well as in- program health considerations.

Developed a Great Bond with Footsteps
Ten plus years at Footsteps Family Centre has developed a bond with each of the daycare providers which has become a very important part of our extended family. As the parents of a child with Special Needs, Footsteps has and continues to contribute to her development by providing a nurturing, safe, educational, and fun environment. They continue to recognize her strengths and do challenge her to succeed in everything she tries. They have always provided us with honest feedback, offering suggestions and ideas on ways to provide new avenues which will contribute to her continued growth and the confidence to be herself and a friend to others. There are not words to express our appreciation and thanks to the wonderful providers at Footsteps Family Centre.

Feel Just Like Family
I was so worried about leaving my children in someone else’s care, but Footsteps’ staff have made me and my children feel safe and in good hands. My children know all the staff by name, and they feel like family. The structure of the day keeps them engaged and busy till pick up time. I’m very impressed with “Footsteps”.
